upgrade’s etc
October 23, 2008 – 4:15 pmso we’ve been trying a few different plugins for nthe actual pop-open portion of the photos. The three features I wanted were:
1) speed (quick load time)
2) the ability to view newxt picture or previous picture (without zooming out)
3) the ability to copy the picture to your desktop by dragging or right-click + save-as
We went through about a half dozen and have decided on fancybox which is what is up and running now. Please email us if you have any problems. It seems to be working great. Also, we are thinking of moving to a dedicated server even though it is costly. I think the traffic now warrants it. Let us know if you think things are two slow, etc!
